I’m Mia, a birth doula and certified babywearing educator with roots as an athlete and nutrition coach.

Movement and nourishment have always been central in my life, and I see them as powerful pieces of the bigger picture in pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum season.

After having my first child I experienced a mixture of emotions around a planned homebirth with a hospital transfer.  Having developed a deep understanding of the support that truly makes an unmedicated birth possible I began supporting other parents as they navigated pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.  My role as a doula is to support other birthing people seeking an unmedicated birth and help them accomplish exactly what they are capable of.

Beyond birth, babywearing became an integral part of my life as a mother. Having found immense support, joy, and a newfound sense of identity as a mother through babywearing I quickly became a certified babywearing educator through the Center for Babywearing Studies (CBWS) in an effort to help other caregivers learn to use the tool of babywearing safely and confidently.

Today, I blend my background in athletics and nutrition with my doula and babywearing work, supporting the whole person—body, mind, and heart—through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Hi there,

My Philosophy

I believe that every birth is a unique and sacred event, and every parent deserves to feel heard, supported, and empowered. My approach is rooted in calm, steady presence and evidence-based care that honors your intuition and choices. Whether we are preparing for labor or navigating the early days of parenthood, my goal is to provide a soft landing space where you can find your confidence. I view pregnancy and postpartum as a holistic transition—a time where movement, nourishment, and emotional connection intertwine to support your well-being. Through babywearing education and doula support, I aim to weave together practical tools with compassionate guidance, helping you build a foundation of ease and connection with your new baby.
